Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora - The Tick

I've had the pleasure to have worked on Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora as a Prop / Environment artist and here are some of the many things I created!
I was responsible for modelling, texturing and partially designing the Tick machine and the storage tanks surrounding it. The Tick is the final boss in the Extractor Plant and thus needed to be impressive and threatening looking, looming over the player. I had a mood concept by Rishiraj Singh Shekhawat where I based the main shapes on but also had the artistic freedom to design the machine as I saw fit while following the RDA art-style. As a result of this I designed some of the mechanical details that can be seen on the Tick. Creating a harmony between messy machinery and heavy paneling. Additionally, I made sure the storage tanks matched visually with the style of the Tick.

The assets were then placed and dressed in the scene by Kristoffer Abardo who was responsible for this area in the Extractor Plant.
I would like to thank my lead Virendra Pratap Singh for the trust of assigning this huge asset to me; as well as my team member Alexey Bondarev for the insightful feedback and suggestions.
This was my biggest task during this project and I'm super proud of the end result!
